Most flowers on top I made by using paper flowers and stamens or Cutting dies
On the front of the tin there is a quote that says: "There's a little mystery hiding inside every woman"
I gave the tin to my Mother with a handmade Apron Inside

Roses Art Blocks

I am entering these Art Blocks for the.....

 Take a Word Challenge

This block is covered with Maja Design Paper, glued on with Modge Podge. Resin Rose is painted with
Granny B Chalk paint. The rose is then glued onto the block. Once eveything is dry it gets coated with a
layer of Granny B Armour to preotect it.

The above block is covered rougl\hly with Poly-filla (crack filler for walls), leave to dry.
Rose Image done with a Granny B Stencil and Granny B Embossing Paste, leave to dry.
I sand the image just to get rid of the very sharp edges it makes when you lify up stencil.
It now gets a wash in the colour you would like to make the picture, used Granny B Cotton Candy
leave to dry and covered with a coat of Armour to pretect.

The above block was covered with a print I found on Pinterest and covered in the same way as the 1st block.

A side way image of the blocks. They all get painted around the edges and also get a coat of Armour to protect them.

So here we go......

Used a coffee bottle, pulled the plastic lid off the lid.....decorated it with flowers, berries and embossing powder with glitter to give it a snow effect and popped it back on to the lid.
The bottle is filled with some yummy christmas goodies, so the lady who gets it can use it to decorate Christmas gifts.
You can even use the empty bottle to pack a nice edible Christmas gift for someone else.

Here is my take on these challenges.....

 I have washed and dried the bottle very well.
Once dry I used Quick crack to coat the inside of the bottle and let it dry completely. when it was dry I used white craft paint and coated the inside of the bottle by rolling it to cover the entire inside, when it dries it has rather big crack in the paint. I then added pink craft paint and once again rolled it to cover the inside of the bottle. My husband says it looks like sour strawberry milkshake!!! LOL
The flower on top is a rose made out of Fimo clay and a silicon mould, baked and then glued onto the cap....then spray painted with Rust-o-leum paint in White. I then covered the rose with Glossy Accents and Pink Glitter.

The pink stone is from an old earring and the bracelet I shortened to hang around the neck of the bottle.
